John O'Ds Review Of
Oakwood Hill (Surrey) |
Location
A24 towards Horsham 17 miles from Reigate Town Centre.
At Beare Green Roundabout, turn off onto A29 towards Ockley.
Pavilion
It looks old with a large clock on
the front not working on the last visit in 2003! Inside the Pavilion it’s right up to date :- T.V. , darts, fruit machine and a “large” snooker table.
It now has a pool table.
Changing Room
Unlikely to get the full XI inside with kit bags at any one time!
Showers
In “home” changing room, best to make friends!
Tea

Good selection of sandwiches & cakes.
Plenty of food on last visit! Nicely presented sandwiches.
Nearest Pub
The Punchbowl, distance from ground - one minute, It’s right opposite the Pitch! Tanglefoot and Badger Beer.

Odd spot

You can field at deep mid-wicket and the top of your head is level with the pitch!
