Pavilion
Meadowbank Pavilion

The pavilion is Council owned - so not very inspiring. Looks better from outside than in.

Changing Room Changing room at Old Dorkinian

Graveney have the privilege of 2 changing rooms, both small. A bit like Strenue C.C. set-up. Kit-bag in one changing room - the sensible players in the other room next door.

Showers
Showers At Old Dorkinian

Five between 22 players. Too hot? Shower area a bit dingy.

Tea
Tea Old Dorkinian 2001

Got a good vote. Good selection of Sandwiches, even prawn, plus Twiglets, Sausage Rolls, many Cakes, on first visit!

Pubs and Restaurants

The Malthouse
'The Malthouse'

The Pilgrim
'The Pilgrim'

The Malthouse, Mill Lane, Dorking. Back street pub, near football ground - young peoples pub, pool table, fruit machines, T.V. All day breakfast, long cocktails £3. All food under £4. The wearing of Baseball Caps is banned after 7p.m.! Car park used by cricketers for 'long walk' to Meadowbank pavilion.

After the game the teams go to 'The Pilgrim' near Dorking West Station. Old Fashioned Pub with real ale, good food and a good atmosphere.

Post match Curry in 2002 was recommended and booked on a mobile phone by a passing local! The Khyber Pass was exceptionally good and comes highly recommended if you are looking for a very good meal in Dorking.

Odd spot

The distance - half a mile uphill - to reach the pavilion/pitch on foot. Must bring a supermarket trolley for the kit-bag and coffin next year.
